Chris Leicester

This will be his 8th play that writer and director, Chris Leicester has produced through his production company, Too Write Productions since 1998.

His last play, Married. But Lonely toured in 2017 to critical acclaim. Past productions have also toured the UK which included three, one-month runs in theatres in London and two full runs at the Edinburgh Fringe.

A previous work, Hurricane Hill is now a novel and audiobook receiving 4 and 5 star reviews. The Incident Pit is to be adapted to a novel and published later in 2019.

Chris is known for his story-based work which cover a wide range of subjects. His sets are usually very minimal so ensuring that the words and acting in his work have to be strong. "With no extravagant sets, my words and the actors who deliver them, have no where to hide," he says.

Work for the future includes a new play entitled '180-degree Chord'.

Originally from Sheffield, Chris has lived in the local area around Chester since 1994.
